Colletti-Proof

A term used in the context of protection from a person who is considered destructive, similar to a "Bull in a China Shop". At the minimum, the individual should arrive with a warning label, or a full disclaimer with a disclosure form attached to their shirt.

Before my drunk friend comes over, I need to Colletti-Proof the house.

Death Proof

A radical movie released in 2007 by Quentin Tarantino, with a cool plot, soundtrack, and special effects. The story is a tad bit jumped, but it’s my favorite movie!! It is also referenced in the web series EVERYMAN HYBRID, as Evan Myers is seen wearing a DEATH PROOF cap (same cap i own), and a shirt with the death proof car logo on it.

Me: Death Proof is Radical and underrated!!!!!

Slothful Proof Bias

The cognitive error of accepting a convenient, low-effort piece of evidence as definitive proof, while ignoring the mountain of complex, contradictory, or difficult-to-obtain evidence. It’s the mental shortcut that prefers a simple, lazy answer over a complicated truth. This bias allows people to "prove" their point by pointing to a single, easily digestible factoid, a meme, or a headline, while dismissing nuanced studies or expert consensus as "too complicated."

Example: "He 'proved' vaccines were dangerous with one Facebook post about a friend's cousin, totally succumbing to Slothful Proof Bias."
