Horse Meat 

Another word for steroid abuse. This term originates from UFC Heavyweight Alistair Overeem's declaration that he "doesn't take steroids;" he "eats horse meat." This statement was in the midst of many allegations of illegal steroid abuse by the fighter after he went from a lanky kick boxer to a lean 265 lb "Demolition Man."

A strange incident on March 3rd 1876 in Kentucky, meat fell from the sky for several minutes. Some said it tasted like beef but a doctor said it could be lung tissue from either a horse or a human infant.

....Otherwise referred to as "Dog Food Sandwiches".

Smashed, processed meat in the form of purina dog chow that is edible by humans. Can be served with a delectable dill pickle and gouda cheese.

side meat

Slabs of meat taken specifically from the sides of a pig, practically a staple in the deep south. May be smoked and cured, in which case it becomes known as bacon, or salted, in which case it is known as salt pork. Sometimes referred to as "side pork," as well, it is an indispensable ingredient for the southern dish of boiled greens.

"Side meat" was mentioned numerous times in John Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath," a story of an Oklahoma family who left home during the Dustbowl years to work in the fruit picking industry in California.
