Schrödinger's Coulson

Schrödinger's Coulson is a thought experiment, sometimes described as a paradox, devised by Austrian physicist u/SunQuest in 2018. The scenario presents a Coulson that may be simultaneously both alive and dead, a state known as a quantum superposition, as a result of being linked to a random subatomic event that may or may not occur.

According to Schrödinger's Coulson, he is neither alive nor dead until the next season of Agents of SHIELD starts.

An incompetent, pathetic teacher who is also somehow a powerful, dangerous Svengali capable of brainwashing young people in 50 mins. MWF and yet still incapable of getting students to do the reading or turn in assignments on time.

I am Schrödinger's lecturer; conservatives believe I can brainwash their children into becoming liberals, but also that I am incompetent and unworthy of a living wage, having to make do with less than $20,000 a year.

Schrodinger's Tienanmen

the belief that certain historical incidents simultaneously did and didn't occur. And weather or not it happened completely depends on the person who is recalling the event.

The Tienanmen Square incident did not occur according to China, while according to western nations it did in fact occur. This is considered a "Schrodinger's Tienanmen" and is the namesake of the theory.
