An idiomatic expression similar to "you can't have your cake and eat it too". The phrase originated from a viral youtube video in which a girl professes her love for cats but is devastated that she can't hug every cat, despite how much she wants to.

Debbie: I bought all this cake and food for my birthday party, but because I bought so much food I don't have any money left to pay my friends to attend. I guess you just can't hug every cat.

1. The word "Everyone" refers to everybody; such as when talking about a group of people.

2. The phrase "Every one" refers to each individual item or thing within a group.

1. "Everyone over there suck at playing soccer."

2. "Every one of those balls are red in colour."
