Located in Morgantown, West Virginia, this school is home to the world's finest couch burners. They usually have a pretty decent football team and basketball team, although the 2009-2010 basketball team won the Big East Championship and made it to the NCAA Final Four. Many innocent couches were burned those nights.
Their biggest sports rival is whoever they happen to be playing that night, though they do particularly hate Pitt, and will usually shout "Eat shit Pitt" at games. The fans offten times make sports center because of their heckling tactics (which include shouting the name of a coach's misstress) and throwing trash onto the floor and at players from the other school. The rowdy fans are offten times from New Jersey, but can be just about anyone from the school if they're playing Pitt. They burn couches and sing "Country Roads" after every game.

All people living in West St. Louis County. These people are all extreamly wealthy, live in very nice houses (usually ranging from $500,000- $1,000,000+), and drive luxury cars. They are better than all other people living in St. Louis County because they can buy what ever they want. Their children even tend to drive nice luxury cars which you can see when you drive by the local schools and the students' cars are nicer than the teachers. There is rivalry between schools that live any farther west than the Chesterfield/Wildwood area (2 in particular but won't mention any names. The reason for this is because the hick school(s) is/are extremly jealous of everything the other school & students have (a.k.a. money).

A place where the locals hang out at the local Stewart’s shop, by day, and dollar general by night, where the conversation topics consist of where the next pit party will be, who’s got the best meth in town this week, and who’s fucking who’s “ole lady” ! Everyone is a Bush drinking, framing carpenter in West Milton, with absolutely not ambition to excel in life, further then their kinfolk have from the previous generation. A full set of teeth is a rarity in West Milton also, if you actually see someone with a nice set of teeth, they’re either passing through, or have relocated for work at the local Naval Base. The pump house is the biggest attraction on those hot summer days in West Milton, where you would round up the family, and go down to the local cooling hole for a swim. The pump house is littered with garbage, broken glass, remains of empty beer balls from the 90s, people literally having sex in their cars, shooting heroin, smoking meth, and chugging Bush tall boys, as of it were their job! AVOID WEST MILTON BY ALL COSTS!

Get the West Milton NY mug.A stunningly beautiful state. I urge people to get off of the interstates and explore some of the more wild areas- these places are what West Virginia really has to offer. Unfortunately many people from out of state don't know where the best spots are, and even long time residents don't take full advantage of the ample outdoor recreation available.
Because of the relative isolation from the rest of the country (until recently), very interesting folk cultures developed all over the Mountain State. I grew up in the Greenbrier Valley, but I have lived in several different regions. I've found that you can't really compare West Virginia to other states or even one West Virginia town to another because of this isolated development. The more little towns I discovered, the more my preconceptions were proven false. You really can't judge the entire state by one area. You especially cannot judge this state by appearances- social norms and material things are not what West Virginians tend to value. You won't find urban metropolises full of coffee shops, trendy clubs, and shopping centers, but you will find close-knit communities and people that really care about each other.
No matter where I've lived or traveled, I've never found people as extraordinarily interesting and friendly I have in West Virginia. Unfortunately, West Virginia has been continuously exploited for generations by outside interests. They have pillaged the state's rich natural resources and left its population in perpetual poverty. Sadly, much of the intelligent and forward-thinking population is left with no choice but to relocate to obtain good educations and jobs- perpetuating this cycle. With extreme poverty comes heavy drug use, alcoholism, lack of education, obesity, incest, abuse, poor health care, and the trashy lifestyle the state has become infamous for.
