seal question

A question in an exam that has absolutely nothing to do with the syllabus of the course. First used in January 2010 in Britain when an A-level Biology paper had a question about a seal respiring under water for long periods of time.

"That question on dialysis was such a seal question!"
"I know, what was the point in revising?!"

It is a quote by Charles Dickens that is used to reply to a question with an answer best kept untold.
The quote has been shortened to "ask no questions hear no lies" in modern use by people who do not know the origin of the quote.

Professor: How far along are you with that assignment, Peter?
Peter: Ask no questions and you'll be told no lies, Professor.
Professor: Ah, Charles Dickens. Alright then, we'll just forget about the assignment for now. I will not accept any work given to me after the hand-in date, remember that.

Quiet kid

The quiet kid is usually a kid in school who is considered quiet and/or silent. In meme culture the quiet kid is considered the most badass person in the class and be able to kick everybody's ass. Example of this is include Light Yagami from Death note and Onision's self inserts in his books. Alot of the quiet kid memes is likely there for the author to self insert themself as a cool kid since alot of internet users was themself quiet as a kid. Alot of the jokes also revolve aroud "school shooting happens, lol"

Vision Quest

Taking a long-duration hallucinogenic drug and going to a scenic area like a park or somewhere beautiful.

We took ayahuasca and went on a Vision Quest. This entailed wandering aimlessly through the woods. The demons in the trees guided us and we were never heard from again. (until we awoke on a bed of pine needles and wandered home)
