The practice of claiming that a particular software mix is certified to work with little or no testing so that a vendor's customer will attempt to implement it.

We've never tested that on Oracle 9i, lets just back-certify it with our client, the Acme corporation.

When a diamond has been officially graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) — the most trusted and respected source in the diamond world. GIA don’t play. Adopted in 1996 as a standard for teaching squirrels how to prove they can keep from shutting equipment down and go out & do work. It's not like ISA requring an actual apprentiship & time based knowledge. You can get NCCER certified in a week & if that's what the major oil companies want lets see how that works out for them!
