Monitor shopping is another form of window shopping. However, instead of stores its all through the internet. You’re online only browsing, not looking for anything in particular because you can’t afford it but you enjoy looking anyway. Maybe you’ll save something in your favorites for when you do have money.

Bill sees Bob on the computer. Shopping
Bill "Hey, are you shopping Bob? I thought you didn't have any money?"
Bob "I don't. I'm just monitor shopping"

Hood Shopping

Removing oneself from one's comfortable, suburban, white lifestyle for the day, by going shopping in one's local hood with a group of friends to take advantage of the ridiculously inexpensive clothing stores. The experience can be augmented by trying on flat brimmed hats, blasting hip hop on the way down, and dining at such hood quality institutions as McDonalds or Pop-eyes.

"Nice new purse Tracey! What store in the mall did you buy it from??"
"Bitch please! They don't have this shit at the mall, you have to go hood shopping to find this kind of fly-ass style! I got this and a matching hooker heels for $10! Gosh I love the hood!"
