Due to a general trust and liking of the police by african americans and hispanics in urban areas, police are seeing a huge increase in people calling to report crimes, providing all available information. this phenomenom is probably a result of years of hard work by the police in these communities gaining trust and showing that they will be fair and follow protocol in all situations.
