Commversation

It's when you have a conversation through comments(on Myspace), wall posts(Facebook), or something of the kind.

A combination of comment and conversation.

Tends to be very slow, and very open, as anyone can see them.

These conversations can last for weeks, as you don't tend to answer immediately.

Here's a recent commversation between me and a friend John:

JOHN said on 5-1-01: HEY man, how's it going? haven't heard from you in a while!

YOU said on 5-2-01: not too shabby. Yourself?

JOHN said on 5-5-01: Just got home from the girlfriends. almost seven months together bro. Scary.

1. how deftly an individual can adapt a story or sentence they are currently telling to steer the mood of the listeners in their favor

2. how quickly an individual can fabricate a believable story while under scrutiny

A real-life instance of good Conversational Reflexes:

I just was going 125mph in my rental car 10min before reaching a security checkpoint.

Officer: "is that a rental? how fast does it go?"

Me: "I wouldn't know, this car is really slow"

Effectively ending an online conversation before it has begun, with use of words such as "ntm", "nm", and "nmu?"

Person1 says:
Hey, what's up?
Person2 says:
ntm.
Person 1 says:
cool....
Person2 says:
Yep..
.....
Person1 says:
Conversation abortion, dude, conversation abortion.

Person walks up...

"hey what you talking about?"

"OH we're just conversationalising."

"Aaah.."

The person turns and walks away as the others carry on conversationalising.

Conversation Rabies

The foaming that occurs in the back of your mouth while talking at full-on motormouth speed. Usually causes discomfort and interrupts rambling conversations.

Sarah: "...and then I was like, OMG that purse had Brianna's cell phone in it and I could totally hijack that and then--"
Mike: "And then..what??"
Sarah: "*gulp*Yeah sorry, I got conversation rabies for a moment there. So anyways..."
