The melbourne mouth or commonly known as #mm is a facial expression in which one will open their mouth as wide as it can go. This expression is adopted in awkward situations or occurences where it is so awkward that a person will be unable to explain their actions, or defend themselves, and thus can only respond with a melbourne mouth.
