libertarianism

The political philosophy of the Founding Fathers. The original philosophy of the Republican Party which has somehow morphed into the abomination it is today. Small government, free trade. Pretty much everything the Republican Party would like you to believe they are but aren't.
Ron Paul is a libertarian, but since the libertarian party can't get enough momentum, he tried to run as a republican. But since modern day neo-conservatives are too stupid to see the libertarianism America came from he did not become president.

Libertarianism

1.)Anarchy for rich people.

2.) What every High School dropout in the suburbs believes to follow.

3.) Like most political philosophies, it has it's faults.

4.) Left wingers who don't like to spend money.
High School Dropout: Libertarianism is the true path to total freedom!

libertarianism

Modern philosophy of government closley resembling Classic Liberalism, a philosophy of government which stresses liberties (economic and civil).

Libertarianism is a term for a philosophy that promotes liberty, i.e. freedom, which includes the civil freedoms to be prejudice, greedy, hateful, ect., and the economic freedom to be rich, buy anything, sell anything, have total rights over all private property. Thus Libertarianism CANNOT, BY DEFINITION, be socialism.

Libertarianism is the absolute most ethical form of government, specifically because it allows individuals to believe and practice what ever they want, such as live in exclusive socialist communities. Capitolism is not an economic system; it is the lack thereof, thus allowing any group of people to do anything to which the included people consent. This is unlike socialism, which requires everyone to participate, even if it is against that individual's will.
Lets review:
Libertarianism = good.
Socialism = bad.

Any questions?

librarian

A research and information geek.
Librarians desire to make the whole world of information available to people at the time they need it. Frustrated by the lack of interest in anything more complex than Britney Spears' bust size, some librarians withdraw into an autistic fantasy where everything is perfectly organized. Others catch unsuspecting researchers and brain-dump the contents of the British Library on them. Generally possessed of insane amounts of patience, as Garrison Kiellor pointed out.
"If television is a babysitter, the internet is a drunk librarian who won't shut up." -- comic caption

libertaryan

One of the many white Christian males who belongs to the right-libertarian movement. Right-libertarianism is a front for fascism cloaked by slogan's like "liberty" and "freedom"--not to be confused with actual libertarianism which advocates for dismantling the innately corrupt/destructive capitalist system and eventually the state itself. The grandfather of right-libertarianism Ludwig Von Mises served as an economic advisor to an Austrian fascist named Engelbert Dollfuss who shut down parliament and suppressed the socialist movement. Mises is on record praising fascism. "It cannot be denied that Fascism and similar movements aiming at the establishment of dictatorships are full of the best intentions and that their intervention has, for the moment, saved European civilization." The movement was further expanded by Murray Rothbard, who was a student of Mises. Rothbard believed in "voluntary" separation of the races, and spoke kindly of former KKK leader David Duke when he ran for senate in 1992. The modern right-libertarian movement is carried on the shoulders of Ron Paul, who published blatantly racist newsletters in the late 80s and early 90s. David Duke was also praised in the newsletters. Ron Paul has publicly defended Texas anti-sodomy laws, spoken against the Civil Rights Act, voted against MLK holiday, and against giving Rosa Parks the congressional gold Medal of Honor, despite supporting giving every Cold War veteran a medal.
European history of brutality and conquest didn't sway the libertaryan from his stubborn belief that Africans are inherently more violent than Europeans.
