shorchos

n. This is an article of clothing that is too long to be classified as shorts, yet not quite in keeping with the style of gauchos, thus a weird combination of shorts and gauchos.

They are often seen on large men and must be sold in secret 'big guy' shops. The NBA uniforms and some college basketball programs have adopted shorchos in recent years.
