containment dome

A four-story metal container designed to slow an oil well leak at the bottom of the ocean. The dome is lowered over the oil leak on the ocean floor with the purpose of capturing the oil so it can be pumped up to the surface.
"The first containment dome left the dock at Port Fourchon, Louisiana to head out to the well site. This system is designed to help capture the oil at the seabed and collect it securely for processing." - BP 5/6/2010

containment sub

In the context of Reddit, (A online community involving a myriad of "subreddit" forums called "subs", each with their own distinct culture and moderation) a containment sub is a sub that is usually more lax in some area of moderation. This is to let a certain subsect of people (that are usually running counterpoint to Reddits main company, particularly in political issues) congregate there and not spread into other subs and "infect" them with their ideology. Certain topics (such as articles about the ponzi scheme Ellen Pao's (the CEO of Reddit) husband created, can cause you to be shadowbanned in many forums, yet in a containment sub they generally will stay viewable indefinitely.

One particularly notable example of these is /r/kotakuinaction, which deals with the Gamergate movement. (and in particular is anti-SJW, whereas Reddit as a company is more definitely pro)
Don't worry about posting that, we're in a containment sub, your account is safe from the mods.

Content ID

Bullcrap system that Audible Magic developed for YouTube to use on its site. The goal of Content ID is to prevent piracy. Instead, it limits the user by automatically treating them as a criminal, even when said copyrighted material is being used under fair use.

The extent of Content ID can do is up to the copyright holder. Viacom was one of the first companies to use Content ID after they sued YouTube for mass piracy. One of the methods is blocking reuploads of their material, which is usually done by major film studios and music labels. Other times, it's used to leech money off a YouTuber. One of the biggest reasons why it's hated is preventing users from monetizing videos. The average wait time to remove a Content ID claim can range from within 24 hours to an upward 90 days, with the longest being in the appeal and counter-notification processes.
Nearly 10,000 companies use Content ID. A majority of them are on behalf of industry giants who know nothing about Fair Use.

A missile which is used for very long ranged attacks, often between continents; hence, inter-continental. These missiles often carry nuclear material which is used to create large explosions, such as those used by the United States during World War II.
The inter-continental ballistic missile completely devastated the country because of it's extreme heat and radiation.
