He was known for his charming personality, good looks, and intelligence, which helped him gain the trust of his victims. Bundy would typically approach women in public places, sometimes feigning an injury or disability, before overpowering and assaulting them. He often revisited the bodies of his victims and committed acts of necrophilia.
Bundy was eventually caught and put on trial, during which he attempted to defend himself and even proposed marriage to one of the witnesses. He was found guilty and sentenced to death, but managed to escape from prison twice before eventually being executed in 1989.
