Like to laugh at other peoples miss fortunes, e.g tripping over a crub, stumbling in the slightest, and so on and so forth. Like to be seen in large crowds of people, all wearing the same dirty nike trainers and tracksuit outfits. Some of the tallented ones MAY be able to string two words together that have further meaning than 'fuck off' and might be able to come out with somthing more intelegent to say than to start talking about some ones mother, who the USUALLY will not have even met.

A townie is a Burberry/Lacoste/Aquascutum wearing knob head who drinks in Weatherspoons.

Townies hate anything which is slightly unusual, eg a bloke with a suit jacket + jeans. The townie will then presume your 'gay' because you aren't dressed like him.

Townies are usually mechanics or labourers. They like cheesy chart music and think they can pull any girl in the world.

They are called Daz, Kev, Gaz, Craig, Shaun and Karl.

Townies drink WKD and dance like arseholes when pissed.

Townies also think Toni & Guy is for 'gays'. Any bar which is remotely well designed is a bar for them 'puffs'.

Go to any Weatherspoon's pub and you'll see them there.
Huddersfield is full of them!
