One who sits in front of a computer every day, all day long, and weekends, too. A mousepotato is similar to but NOT a couch potato. He or she uses a mouse to navigate or control actions on a computer; however, this definition does not extend to using a computer to play games. A mousepotato is strictly defined as one who is dedicated to using a computer for the purposes of doing business online and excessively so.

Mouse-Click Activism

Political and social action through activities such as signing Internet petitions, clicking on "click to give" sites such as The Hunger Site, posting the color of your bra on Facebook as a way to raise awareness of breast cancer. Arguably either pointless and self-indulgent or tech-savvy, next gen activism.

Two typical examples of mouse-click activism: The Hunger Site, where advertisers agree to contribute funds towards food relief based on the number of clicks per day on the site. Each visitor can be counted for only one click per day. Results are reported each day in number of cups of food for which funds were raised by clicks that day. An example of an Internet petition is one started in Shropshire, UK to protest road tolls, which obtained more than 1 million sign-ons.

Suicide Mouse

A very creepy episode of a childhood favorite show you might know as Mickey Mouse. In this descriptive episode, it first shows Mickey walking down a street, but not smiling and talking as always. He has his hands behind his back, and looks generally depressed. The screen blacks out for a while, but when it resumes, we hear a man murmuring in the background. Then, we start hearing what sounds like a broken record box playing, and more bloodcurdling screams come into action, as terrifying images come in between buildings. Then, Mickeys face starts to break down, his eyes down to the bottom of his sockets, his teeth begin to break more and more. Eventually, he starts running faster until he reaches full speed. Then, he collapsed. A few moments later, a depiction of Death appeared and laughed, as the video ends. We don’t quite know if this was just a creepypasta or real.
