A word that Senior leadership uses when their brain is fried from too many meetings and wants to say dramatic and drastic. However, they will not admit this is not a real word.

When you think a small storm is going to be a huge end of the world event.

Tony: this storm isn't going to be nearly as bad as the last one, you are being overly dramatic.

Nichole: WE NEED TO PREP. I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT WEATHER. WE ARE GOING TO DIE!!

Weather channel: it will be a cat 3 when it hits land but will most likely be a cat 2 shortly after. Unlike the last one that was a cat 5 when it hit land and turned into a cat 3 after.
