A period of time, usually around 5 years when someone around the age of 30-45 (usually a man) gains weight, doesn’t exercise very much and enjoys wine, beer and good food. Comfort years are often followed by a ‘get fit’ regime and weight loss. Someone in their comfort years usually has a belly.
‘Wow, you’re really getting a beer belly on you. Maybe you should try some exercise!’

A comic where there aren't any jokes, it's just a character being nice to another character who is in emotional pain. There is no punchline. The final panel instead says something along the lines of "It's all going to be ok".
Variations include:
-A character talking about their lack of confidence in something not to another character, but to the reader.
-A character getting the courage to go off and accomplish things today.
-A character growing tired while drawing at a cintiq and then getting a second wind.
-A character waxing nostalgic about their childhood, then comparing it to their life now, then seeing kids doing a modern day version of what they were doing as a kid, and coming to the conclusion that things will be ok.

You: "Because people like your aunt will always be suckers for comfort porn."

It doesn't mean you don't have anything to talk about; it just means that you feel comfortable enough to enjoy those moments of silence together.

Where students study, talk, change clothes and apparantly eat. It is also used rarely to escape class for a minute to wake them selves up.Of course it is also used to pee and poop in ,but some students try to not poop in school.Honestly, the possibilities are endless. it's even used to take selfies or videos or groufies.

Sheena looked down when she dropped her candy bar, but the comfort food seemed to disappear completely. Had it fallen down her cleavage, or was it near her feet? She wasn't quite sure.

When you decide not to let unpredictability or uncertainty affect you and your future—you have come to terms that you have got to live with chaos, no matter how disruptive it can be in putting up a brake to your life’s goals.
Instead of blaming events or things that he’s no control over, John has learned to be comfortably uncomfortable in coping with life’s challenges—he doesn’t let bad breaks or misfortunes affect his attitude towards life; instead, he’s grateful that he can rely on God’s wisdom to overcome whatever obstacle comes his way.
