When on the social network Twitter and tweeting with two other people. It is a menage a tweet.

I was twittering with two women when I thought this is like a menage a trois. So I thought hmm tweet plus menage a trois equals menage a tweet.

Tonight I will engage in a menage a tweet.

This comes from a french term "Menage a trois" which according to Wikipedia means "house of three". The three live together and have sexual relations. I dropped the trois and replaced it with Tweet.

This term defines a group of three conversing on the social network Twitter. Tweet defines the dialogue exchanged on the network.
This comes from a night of tweeting with two friends.

Tonight I was engaged in a menage a tweet. Tweeting with two other people at a time.

Thunder Tweeting

When a twitter user tweets multiple times without any disruption. The tweets can be on any sort of topic and completely unrelated, but must be sent back-to-back without any other twitter follower tweeting in-between. Thunder tweeters are not typically well received by people who subscribe to their tweets via text messaging because they can quickly clog up ones inbox and easily annoy the receiver. But thunder tweeting can also quickly get the attention of the twitter community if used effectively.

The origin of the term Thunder tweeting is taken from a misunderstanding in a topic that involved the Oklahoma City Thunder Basketball team.

Twitter User: What's good?

... 30 seconds later....

Twitter User: Off to work and then hitting the gym

... 18 seconds later....

Twitter User: Should have made some coffee this morning.

Multiple tweets in a short span of time = Thunder Tweeting

Hat Tweet

Similar to the Hat Tip in blogging, where one links to the source of a story by Hat Tipping.
Here, the source is found on Twitter, hence "Hat Tweet", which can be done 2 ways: the words "Hat Tweet" link to the actual Targeted Tweet, while the Target Name is linked to the target's website.
The 2nd way is to simply link the entire "Hat Tweet to So'n'So" to the targeted Source Tweet on their Twitter Page.
