When the Word of the Day on UrbanDictionary recieves a majority of downward thumbs. This happens approximately once or twice per week as supposedly clever definitions completely miss the mark.

"Hey bro did you see UrbanDictionary's WOTD? It was totes mcgoats which apparently means "totally" to some delusional noob. Epic fail."

"Naw, they were just using their Rural Dictionary."

Urban Dictionary Voters

The people, who are bored and have nothing better to do, that come to urban dictionary and decide to vote on multiple words. Many of them lack a sense of humor and quickly throw many of the words out and usually only accept sex innuendos or people's names describing how good they are at sex.

Charlie: I can't those fucking retards didn't accept my word!
Paul: I know man, Urban dictionary voters are terrible.

Similar to a flame war, it is a verbal conflict that takes place on the internet. However, both parties attempt to sound intelligent by insulting each other with larger and more complex words each time, eventually having to use the dictionary to find their insults.

'Corpulent' is a good word to use in a dictionary war.
