Physical Education

It's mandatory in Illinois schools, unless you..

1. have some medical issue;
2. are taking something like Health or Driver's Ed;
3. are on a sports team (e.g. high school wrestling, etc.); and/or
4. observe a religion that won't let you participate for some reason (Christian Scientists b/c of the "body is just a shell", Muslim girls b/c of the PE outfits)
Illinois, even though it's the only state that mandates Physical Education, allows students to opt out via medical disability, Health or Driver's Ed elective, and/or religious reasons.

1. "Here's a note from the school nurse."
1-a. "I can't go swimming. I'm on my period, and I can't wear a tampon."
2. "Sorry, I'm taking Driver's Ed. Us Illinoisans can't drive so well unless we sit in a classroom."
3. "Why would I want to repeat wrestling practice?"
4-a. "The clerics say that this T-shirt and gym shorts are too revealing for a girl of the Muslim faith."
4-b. "The only exercise I know is ex-or-cise."

evacuation pacifier

A device that aids in the passage of time while having a No.2 (aka poo). Generally used by men rather than the ladies as they see it as less is more with regards to time taken.

In ancient times this was limited to the daily rag (newspaper), however with the introduction of new technology this endeavour has been made all the more pleasurable.

Common modern day evacuation pacifiers are:
Mobile phone (with Internet)
Mobile phone (with game worms being the best)
PSP
Game Boy advanced
Nintendo DS.
While sitting on the toilet feeling pretty board I decided to use my evacuation pacifier check the football results on my phone and then play a game of snake.

Education

Often the end result of a process of theoretical book-learning (which may yield nothing more than a collection of trivia about an obscure subject), used as an excuse to look down on others who may actually be better-adjusted, better-informed, more experienced individuals.
The college graduate knew he was superior to everyone else because he had completed his Education: a master's degree in Ancient Mesopotamian Pottery.

St. Andrews Catholic Education Center

A school the kills originality. It used to be cool but over the past 9 years it has just gone down hill. The teachers are either boring, bipolar, or crazy.
St. Andrews Catholic Education Center... or sascec sucks!

evolution

The general idea of evolution is that if a million monkeys bang a million monkeys they’d eventually produce a Shakespear.
If we are going to teach creation science as an alternative to evolution, then we should also teach the stork theory as an alternative to biological reproduction.

Capcom fighting evolution

The final game featuring Some of the Street Fighters. This game was nowhere near evolution, and should have been called Capcom Fighting Basics.
This game might seem cool when you first play, but you will regret thinking that after a few months.
I loved this game when I played it, after a few months I nearly cried when playing it. Don't get the game. It SUCKS

education

1)Positive Connotation:
The state of getting and or becoming "educated" therefore giving you the chance to succeed in life.
At it's most basic level, in the US, graduating from high school, or getting a General Equivalent Diploma. (Hey, if you don't have a diploma, eventually even Micky D's won't want you anymore if more qualified applicants show up. And if you can't read, write, or do basic artithmetic, you can't do a lot of things.)

However, in the United States, most "educated" people have been to a two or four year college and have some form of degree, thus making them elgible for at least slightly better jobs.

For this reason, many adults tell their kids to stay in school and get a good education, so they can be sucessful in life.

2)Negative connotation:
A system run by the state that screws you over, where you learn nothing of importance and must take tons of standardized tests while enduring a dumbed-down curriculum, the main focus being to keep the children just educated enough that they can grow up, take jobs, and become cogs in the wheels of the system, in what is inevitably an "assembly line" approach. In short, the Man's way of stifiling young creativity and brainwashing the youth of the nation.
1) "The reason I know the meaning of the word 'connotation' is because I go to school and get myself an education."

2) "Kids in the US often hate the education system, and feel it stifles their individuality and creativity. However, in third world nations, many kids would love the chance to go to school, even if it's crappy and state-run, because they're stuck working all day without minimum wage."
