Talking to the Count

The Mountain Peak of overtired. When someone is "Talking to the Count" coherent words cease to come out of there mouth. In the most extreme of cases, the effected being may start to talk to an imaginary figure. Many imaginary figures have been reported, the most common being The Count from sesame street. The reason why, is still unknown.

Amy: Hey Chris, why are you acting so strange?
Chris: One bat, Muh ha ha ha... man your funny...
Amy: Are you talking to the Count?
Chris: Two bat, Muh ha ha ha...
Amy: God, you are talking to the count.

don't count your chickens before they hatch

You should not assume that what you think will happen, will eventually happen. It's mostly used in cases where you would brag, plan, or make other deals before the event actually occurred. Originates from selling chickens based on how many eggs there is before you know how many eggs are viable. A few chickens may die, some may not hatch, and others eggs may break. Example: quitting your job or buying expensive items when your $1,000,000 sports bet looks likely but there's still two minutes more left in the game.

Hey Bob, you have to keep on playing hard. Even though we are up five goals with 5 minutes left, they can still come back. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

Death-Count Delay

In any given pandemic with exponential spread, the period of time that exists between reported cases and the onset of increased mortality.

Like I said, the increased case counts are just because of all the great testing we're doing; there has been no increase in death reported and soon there will be zero cases. We've got this TOTALLY under control.
Ummm, Sir...seems like we should wait 2-3 weeks for the Death-Count Delay before taking that victory lap.

Body Count

1. How many persons one has murdered, killed, etc. For example, if the police had done a report on you once you've committed murder, would be 20.

2. How many people you have had sexual intercourse with. For example, if one of your friends came and asked you what your body count was after knowing you have had intercourse with multiple people, you'd reply, 5.

3. How many people who have been killed at the scene. For example, once they have counted the bodies in a murder scene, before figuring out the killer.

Definition one: Yn has a body count of 15 people in total.

Definition two: Hey, do you really have a body count of 5? Sick!

Definition three: I heard there was a body count of 15 at the last crime scene, a full on massacre!
