A girl who thinks she's unique, when in reality she's hiding her mainstream pleasures behind her non-prescription Ray-Bans and designer scarf. Many "bohemics" can be seen at a record store buying vinyl takes on modern music and bands such as the Arctic Monkeys or Young the Giant. Basically a fake hipster. Common names for bohemian chics are: Mæ dd ī ę, Hailee, Shasta, Kitty, Devin
Girl: "Hey I just bought a new record player! Want to come over and listen to all my new records?"
Guy: *under breath* God she's such a bohemian chic. "Sure!"

Basically a hipster but the pretense is not directed towards single-origin coffee or obscure music, but towards "geeky" shit. A lot of the promoters of this stem from corporate cynicism that is thinly disguised by using attractive front-runners like Felicia Day and moderately annoying douchebags like Wil Wheaton. You can tell because geek chic is all these people are - it's a brand and they are wearing it to market it to you. Typically these people have nothing interesting about them at all, but will nevertheless try to force you to think they are cool or interesting by how many tabletop board games, RPGs, and Magic the Gathering cards they have.

A girl that’s dating your little brother that you’ve never met but needs a ride home from a bar.
A girl who knows all about you but you have no idea who she is or where she came from.
Your brothers new girlfriend and has the same name as his last girlfriend.

This chic had her tongue down my brothers throat in the backseat of my car.
I call her chic so I don’t have to say her name

To quote Scott Simon on NPR, "Detroit's got a pile of troubles. It also has a new kind of gritty chic."
