Necro-Tautology

1) An obsessive facination with deceased tortoises.

2) An erotic attraction to or the need to copulate with deceased tortoises.

Etymology:

Normally enjoyed by the lesser active and unfit of the human species, due to the fact that a dead tortoise will not say no or crawl away and thus irradicates the fear of rejection.

The needless or unwelcome repetition of a fart.

When someone farts and everyone laughs so they fart again, but no one thinks it's funny the second time is an example of tootology.

Tautology

Using different words to say the same thing, or a series of self-reinforcing statements that cannot be disproved because they depend on the assumption that they are already correct

ME: Dudes such a wanker he’s dead-to-me… like piss-on-his-grave dead-to-me…
FRIEND: Thats a hell-of-a tautology if i have ever heard one.

the act/studying of spending time doing what you want but not accomplishing anything but also not wasting it either

person1: hey what did you do today?

person2: today dave and i went to home depot, walmart, and sportsmans warehouse.

person1: did you buy anything?

person2: nah, we just field studied timeology. did everything we wanted to do but didn't really accomplish anything.

Taintology

A slightly obscure medical study that focuses on the Perineum (also known as the TAINT or GRUNDLE). Many medical majors acquire this degree from a 2 year technical school before moving on to something more prestigious, like proctology. It is also a study that enrolls a high amount of medical school dropouts.

"I heard that Jimmy was going to be a doctor!"

"Yes, but he flunked out of Med School so he is going to apply for the Taintology program at ITT Tech instead."

The repetition of meaning in the same sentence, using different words. Usually decreases clarity of speech/writing.

Example of a sentence using Tautology:
He struggled to lift the heavy weights, he had trouble raising them.
