Is a phrase used in a few situations, most common is when you are seeing a girl and her best friend likes your friend and so she wants to double date, and the only way you are going to get with your girl is if your friend comes along to the date, but it usually turns out that her best friend is fat or sum ugly bitch that noone would fuck. Fat bitches usually fuck things up so your friend decides to come along anyway so you can take your girl sumwhere else and bang her.

Fred: Hey John Sarah's friend Mel wants to go on a double date with you.

John: Fuck man Mel is one fat bitch she'll rape me...but ill do it for the team

Meet the Team

Meet the Team is a series of Source Filmmaker animations published by Valve to promote Team Fortress 2. The series consisted of 10 episodes, 9 of which star the main 9 playable characters and a 10th joke episode about the Heavy Weapons Guy's secondary weapon, the Sandvich (which is really just a sandwich, that in-game, restores 300 health for the Heavy and acts as a Medium Health Kit when given out to players). The series has helped Valve with developing the game's technology. Meet the Heavy, the first entry of Meet the Team, helped Valve test facial animations for more expressions for the characters in-game.

A phrase used in the online multiplayer gaming societies. The phrase describes a reaction of a player that has started a team fight but his team has not followed him because the other players have brain malfunction which results in the player going alone in the enemy team and getting killed because of it.

an act where one brave soul in your group of male friends hits on the Nottie of a group of hotties so his friends can get their slide on later on that night. taking one for the team usually involves just talking to the nottie and laughing at her jokes and complimenting her (horrid) appearance, but it may be necessary to appease the nottie by getting your wacka wacka on with her...back at her place of course, so your roomates never see her.

yeah, i was totally working up my conversation with number one hottie when her nottie roomate showed up (again!), so i had to to have joey take one for the team.
