A jelly fish/slug hybrid found in the universe of falling sand. Especially prone to salt, and grows rapidly when makes contact with water. Extremely dangerous.

Carl Sagan defeated the snig when he poured a bucket of salt on it's face.

Snigs are attracted to swimming pools and often eat children while in persuit of the water.
