It usually comes from behind in the sucker punch format and is utilized in most European football setting whether on the field or in the stands. Not as effective as a full on punch to the face but the element of surprise is what makes the Slavic slap one to be respected and feared. It can come out of anywhere.
Man did watch that Steau Bucharest game versus Red Star Belgrade. That brawl was intense.....that guy from the bench came out of nowhere to deliver the Slavic slap to the Red Star player.
