schadegging

The act of anonymously promoting an area (typically a city/town or neighborhood) for one's own financial gain. Due do the increasingly strict ethics guidelines in the real estate profession, many agents have turned to schadegging.

"My homie got jacked up in Camden, NJ because he thought he would be safe living there, due to all the recent schadegging of the city on Reddit. Place ain't no joke folks! These realtors literally have blood on their hands!".

schadomized

a general term used to define, in a work environment, the act of your superior or owner of a company verbally abusing a person or team for a mistake or *perceived mistake*. Sometimes confused with the act of 'getting steined'.

The client fired us so I got called into the big office and was schadomized for my mistakes. or The boss yelled at me today and reminded me over and over how poor of an employee I am, I got schadomized like never before.

Reading, listening or watching anything to do with Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos gives me such schadenfraud.
The Fyre documentary was pure schadenfraud.

pleasure derived from others' troubles.

although "schadenfreude" seems widely known I've never heard it being used in casual conversation.

Probably it's more the problem of not knowing how to pronounce it. I've heard "skäidenfruhd," for instance :)

Shaddap

Pronounced with excessive exaggeration of the second "a", as in example 1. Shaddap is used to tell somebody to shut up without sounding overly serious. It can also be used pre-emptively, as in example 2. The crowning usage of shaddap however is as an unexpected end to a phrase, particularly when used to imply that somebody had said something extremely stupid.

1. "Shaddaaaaaaaaaaaap."

2. "I know what you're going to say, and I'm telling you, shaddap."

3. "How much more does a hard drive weigh when full?"
"Oh it weighs about shaddaaaap."
