Folks commuting to Temple and Austin live here. Heavily Republican and well to do. Lots of retired military. A school board that chose to not allow the school children to watch Pres. Obama on TV address the nation's youth. A small art colony, an interest in music and live theatre keeps the community diversified. Race and culture are not diversified.
