Rattafication is when a student mindlessly memorises facts through rote memorisation in the interest of scoring high marks rather than understanding a concept, especially during examinations.

Pattification

The process in which someone drives themselves or others absolutely crazy for no obvious reason. Process herein means that a person(s) will spend an extraordinary amount of time laboring over something that would typically take minutes; however, in the end you will be left making statements such as, “Oh that is better” or “You were right”. The extension of perfection. The art of taking normal and sometimes lackluster materials and adding both artistic touches and eloquent language to bolster the appearance and presentation of written documents, presentations, and displays.

Steven put his presentation through the process of pattification with the hopes that his eloquent language would convince management to approve his request.
