Simply, squishy cheeks on ones face. It can be made by fat, but it is not limited to this - things like jaw alignment or soft/flexible skin can result in poonum.

When someone has a lot of poonum, it is very amusing to poke this person's cheek with a your finger and say poonum in a childish voice.

Ponmas

A Ponataranian festival much like Christmas and New Years combined where friends get together in a neutral place to have jollity and fun around the traditional Ponmas bush. After Ponmas dinner there is usually a walk to the beach(if it's cold enough) and the throwing of the sweets where about 1kg of sweets are thrown into the air for the kids to catch as many as they can.

Merry Ponmas, let's put some decorations on the Ponmas bush.
