Parallel Universe

A mechanic in the 1996 Nintendo 64 game, Super Mario 64. Because of how the game processes Mario's position, it is possible to be really far from the actual level while still able to interact with the floors and walls, as if another copy of the floors and walls were there, hence the name "parallel universe". It was made popular by TASer pannenkoek2012 in his YouTube video "SM64 - Watch for Rolling Rocks - 0.5x A Presses (Commentated)", in which he abused this mechanic to obtain a star while keeping the jump button held the whole time.

1. v. - the act of harassing a driver, from the passenger seat, into attempting to fit his car into a space that is too small.

2. v. - ridiculing a driver, from the passenger seat, during the act of parallel parking.

1. Passenger: "Whoa, you banged that fender pretty hard."

The axiom that states that Asian women from below the 23rd North Parallel are disproportionately hot. The converse is also true; north of the 23rd Parallel shows low average hotness.

Man 1: Man, that Asian woman was hot!
Man 2: Cool, where was she from?
Man 1: Vietnam, I believe.
