Newbury Berkshire UK

A place situated in the South East of England, in the Thames Valley region.
Most inhabitants of this particular town claim to hate living here ... However, never seem to leave.

Most 17-25 year olds will, at some point have had a sexual experience with someone of the opposite sex who has also had a sexual experience with one or several of their friends and\or relatives.
Everyone in Newbury is in some way related to each other, suggesting some degree of inbred behaviour.
Being such a small town, rumours and gossip spread like wildfire, in short, everyone knows everybody else's business.
A high percentage of 17-25 year old males are either drug dealers, regularly sniff cocaine, ketamin, Meow meow and a high percentage of the females within this age range will at some point engage in a sexual act to gain such drugs.

negburns

When your barber, seemingly obsessed with sideburn symmetry, screws up so badly that your sideburns embarrassingly begin ABOVE your ears.
"By any chance have you seen Jose Canseco's negburns recently? They begin North of his eyeballs. Ridiculous!"

Newburyport

An ancient, clustered, European style harbor town in northern Essex County Massachusetts at the mouth of the Merrimack River (on the south bank.)

Known for clipper ship construction two centuries ago, it has a very long history of prosperity and decline and figured prominently in the HPL story "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" among other literary works.

In the last half century it has gone from slum to a wealthy place dominated by yuppies, and has some of the best preserved early 19th century urban architecture anywhere in North America.

But as someone already said, it has it's secrets... has had them for centuries.

More towns should be designed like Newburyport.
Newburyport has a long and rich history. Located on the south bank of the Merrimack River before it empties into the Atlantic Ocean, the area was originally inhabited by the Pawtucket Indians. It was settled in the 1630’s by European immigrants who founded the city of Newbury. The small port of Newbury was quickly settled and became a fishing and trading center with the rest of Newbury turning to agricultural pursuits.

By 1764, the port was so prosperous and densely settled that it broke off from Newbury to become Newburyport. Maritime trade fueled the city’s economy, sparking extraordinary building activity in the decades following.

In 1811, a catastrophic fire leveled the downtown. That event, coupled with restrictive federal trading policies and embargoes implemented in response to the War of 1812 and the national financial panic of 1816, resulted in the city’s economic downfall...

Newburgh

City in upstate (downstate? Depends on your point-of-view) New York in the USA. WAY tougher than pussy ol' Poughkeepsie. Take a midnight stroll down Chambers Street and tell me I'm wrong. Has way better views of the Hudson River, too.

It is connected to Beacon by the Hamilton Fish Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. The main high school is NFA, or Newburgh Free Academy, or No Fun Allowed. That last one was not a joke. The school mascot is the Goldback (A type of eagle) and the main rival is Kingston.

Population of 28,259 as of the 2000 census.

ACHIEVEMENTS
-First American city to have electricity
-Home to Broadway, at one time the widest street in America
-One of the first cities in America to fluoridate its water supply
-One of the test markets for the first televisions; the positive feedback the TV's received helped start the worldwide phenomenon
-Once the location of George Washington's encampment.

Bordered by the much more wealthy Town of Newburgh to the north, and middle-class New Windsor to the south.

A.K.A.: The Sixth Borough, Da Burgh, Boringsville, Retardsville
Newburgh is actually a pretty interesting place, despite what most teenagers say about it.

Newburgh, Indiana

1- A place where middle-aged caucasions move to raise children. This is due to the fact that nothing ever happens that would be of any interest, there is no diversity other than German or Sweedish, and the police have nothing better to do than arrest 17 year-olds for carrying ciggarettes (or other things of this nature).

2- A village of alcoholics.
"Are you gonna go hang out in Newburgh, Indiana tonight?"
"Fuck no. Why?"
