nayhole

nayhole: (nā' hōl)

n. Combination of the negative 'nay' and the pejorative 'a-hole,' used to describe an individual who uses his limited power to say no.

A typical nayhole operates in a highly bureaucratic environment and has limited authority to veto something but does not have the authority to say yes. Nayholes gain satisfaction from killing projects as a way of artificially inflate their personal and organizational sense of importance.

Originally a term used by professional salespeople, this has entered the general vernacular.

"I almost had the project approved, and then Bob got wind of it. He's a nayhole: it's a rare day he'd say yes to free beer."

Transportation Narcolepsy

The act of falling asleep on public transportaion, including, but not limited to, subways, buses, trains, taxis, etc.

Krista's transportation narcolepsy during her daily BART ride to work frequently results in her missing her stop, drooling on herself, and people mistaking her for a homeless person.

Boner Narcolepsey

;a medical condition which subjects the patient to sudden narcoleptic episodes(aka passing the F*#k out) whenever he becomes sexually arroused due to the sudden loss of blood to the brain when it is required to erect his ridiculously large Organ. When one suffers from this condition they should always inform any and all new partners before engaging in intercourse otherwise they may panic and dial 911 or worse throw the patient off a bridge so as to avoid any legal reprecutions of a wrongful death suit etc.

Patient: I've no clue bro, this damn boner narcolepsey gets me every time so if anything did happen I can't remember, seeing however as to how she walked out on her own I'd say it was a no go.

Pasternakian Narcolepsy

The inability to stay awake when reading any work bu Boris Pasternak especially his most famous work Doctor Zhivago. More than 30% of High School students suffer from this condition without even knowing it. While narcolepsy is the main symptom. Other symptoms may include: Excessive amounts of drool, fatigue, eye pain, hallucinations, nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, and diarrhea. Suicide can also occur when combined with large amounts of alcohol. Those diagnosed with this condition should refrain from driving or using heavy machinery while reading the novel.

Guy 1: Hey man did you do the World Lit Homework last night.

Guy 2: What lit homework?

Guy 1: The Zhivago Homework.

Guy 2: Naah man, I can't. I have Pasternakian narcolepsy, I couldn't read it even if I wanted to.
