A derogatory Persian word to describe Arabs, referring to the term "lizard" from the stereotypical view point of Arabs eating lizards in deserts. The racial hatred began during the Arab Invasion of the Persian Empire, and has been enhanced after the Iran-Iraq War.

Person #1: Did you see that marmoolak eating that nasty creature!?

Person #2: Yeah, they are disgusting people.

But Mamamoo

A new version of " But Namjoon ". It's a phrase stan twitter uses when their faves do something problematic. (Strangely, this phrase is mostly used by Armies, who has been through the same thing) They use it when they want to redirect the hate to Mamamoo even though they apologized (2 letters + apologized in front of the fans next day) 4 hours after being called out. Mamamoo are one of the few idols who owned up to their mistakes but to this day, stan twitter still keeps spreading lies (etc: "They did it 484884 times even after their apology" or "I've heard they did xxx too.") about them and constantly harassing their fans for stanning Mamamoo

A: We should stop hating on idols who apologized sincerely.
Also A when their faves does something problematic: xxx did this but Mamamoo... Yall forgot about them easily...

B: You have no say in this you stan Mamamoo (Also stans another problematic idol)
