selective introvert

The attitude of being introvert towards some people and/or situations but with the right stimulation, can be exhibit extrovert qualities as well.

I wonder why he is usually shy in the class but is very outgoing to strangers in trade fairs? He must be a selective introvert.

A very broad term that is misunderstood, but an "introvert" may contain one or more of these qualities. It pretty much comes down to choice however.

One who focuses on the inner world of thoughts and ideas.

One who gains energy from alone time, one who thinks before they speak.

"Look, I like hanging out with you, but you're making me tired ok? I'm an introvert!"

Introvert

The exact opposite of an "extrovert" and introvert tends to keep to themselves due to having a different mindset than everyone else. Introverts tend to have a strong sense of self, caused by their solitary nature. They have few friends but those friends are very precious to them. Despite their appearance they sometimes have low self-esteem and tend to feel lonely often. However, an introvert enjoys their time to themselves very much and considers that time most precious. extroverts tend to hate and misunderstand introverts since they can't understand them. Due to this introverts usually avoid most extroverts because they tend to be assholes or because some of their pointless conversations tend to kill brain cells. Due to dealing with extroverts, they can come up with amazing comebacks. Introverts are very interesting people to talk to because of their completely different view of the world and are great to have as friends because they'll never betray you

Extrovert Asshole: Hey you stupid introvert! How about you make some friends, oh wait, you can't!!! HAHAHA!!
Introvert: Why would I want to make friends with people who only talk about what they would eat out of Courtney's ass?

Someone who doesn't talk alot and tends to keep to themselves. They are usually mistakenly labeled as rude, unfriendly, stuck up, or bitchy.

She is not rude or bitchy, she is just an introvert.
