insomniphobia

Insomniphobia occurs when you are lying in bed, but you can't sleep (insomnia). When a person is insomniphobic, it means that the person has a fear of not being able to sleep. They might fear insomnia because they know if they don't sleep they will be tired the next day, or maybe they have a big test the next day. The side effects of insomniphobia include constantly checking your phone to see what time it is, restlessness, sweating, and like any other phobias, anxiety and stress.

I had a major case of insomniphobia last night. I was afraid I woudn't be able to sleep before that big test I'm taking today.

Gamer's Insomnia

n. The common illness amoung gamers when a temporary psychological addiction to a video game causes lack of sleep for anywhere between 24-48 hours. Most commonly found in WoW players as a chronic disease.

Self Inflicted Insomnia

Also know as SII. Self Inflicted Insomnia is a basic lack of sleep caused by your own boredom and lack of interest in sleep. People with Self Inflicted Insomnia could sleep if they so desired, but they don't care to, so they stay up as long as possible, sometimes for days.

A person with SII doesn't necessarily need a reason to stay up. Usually people with this disorder spend their time on the internet, even if there is nothing to do. They'd rather stare at a wall than close their eyes.

Person 1: I never see you log off, do you ever sleep?
Person 2: No, I have Self Inflicted Insomnia.

Person 1: So you can't sleep? That sucks.
Person 2: I just don't want to, plus my cat is making cute faces at me.

A drawing or illustration done by one who is suffering from Insomnia and is bored to death. The pen finds its way into the person's hand and the next thing they know there is a work of art in front of them. Oft times these sketches are tossable garbage, but every now and then one is a real gem.

The biggest whore in the universe to humans. Takes up all your time and effort just to fuck with your head and then leaves you depraved and indifferent to reality for a long, long time. Can be induced through psychosis, mania, chemical imbalance, drugs such as Cocaine, LSD, Mescaline, Nicotine, caffeine (even though you need a metric fuck ton of it to do so) and Pharmaceuticals (only if you get the rebound effect, which is shitty as fuckkk!)

insomnia

The worst thing...ever.
I've had it my whole life.
It's where you try to sleep but it just won't happen.
You try counting backward you try EVERYTYING..
You just don't sleep.
Hence, me sitting here at 2:00 am when I have to wake up in 4 hours.

Lauren:It sucked..I have insomnia so I couldn't sleep
