Hypergeek

A person that has gone past the point of no return when it comes to fiction, especially science fiction. It is appropriate when facts are completely overlooked or not recognized by the individual from established norms, on the subject the person is addressing.

Darth Maul died in The Phantom Menace as he was cut in half by Obi Wan Kenobi's lightsabre, thus killing him dead. Yet, new Disney cartoons have brought Darth Maul back from the dead to capitalize on the character for money. Disney has Hypergeeks writing these stories that are contrary to the fictional history that is established. Another example would be, Darth Maul used the dark side of the force before The Phantom Menace during his earlier years. My reply to that would be...No he didn't! Maul said to Palpatine..." At last, we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi...." Maul did not use the dark side of the force to do anything lest Palpatine and Maul be revealed, so get over it you Hypergeek! A Hypergeek is like a Trekkie...they don't have a life and they go way beyond the stories that are set in stone.
