They constitute, in order of size, the Dhulbahante, Warsangeli, Dishiishe, Mumin-Aden-Leelkase, Reer-Mahad-Awrtable. In the pre-Anjeel period, these tribes were a united geopolitical block called the Darwiishians, and were the most powerful entity in the northern Horn.
