Funimated

A portmanteau combining the words fun and animated.

Often used to describe someone who is very entertaining because of their use of bold, dramatic gestures and facial expressions.

People who are funimated typically make excellent storytellers and are both happily and deservedly the center of attention at gatherings.

"Is Sammy shouting and gesturing at an imaginary dog?"

"Probably. She's really funimated. We should go over there...I bet she's telling a great story."

funistrada

a fictitious food item. The term was inserted in a U.S. Army survey of soldiers circa 1974 regarding their food preferences.

Funistrada along with a fake vegetable dish called "buttered ermal" and a fake meat dish called "braised trake" were inserted "to provide an estimate of how much someone will respond to a word which sounds like a food name or will answer without reading." Funistrada scored higher in popularity than eggplant, lima beans, and cranberry juice. All three items, however, had the highest percentage of "never tried" responses.

FUNimation

A respectable anime licensing company that has brought many good animated shows from japan into several other countries.

Their dubs might be poorly written ("Desert Punk", Crayon Shin-Chan), but they usually get the subtitles done better then any other anime licensing company around.

No licensing company can beat fansubs at subtitles though.

People #1: Did you hear about that new anime FUNimation has licensed?

People #2: Yeah, I've watched it 3 times over after I downloaded it months ago off the internet. I know it is too much to ask, but I hope they can get a decent dub done.

People #2 ZOMG! You think that's possible!?

People #1: Hell no! I was joking obviously! Jeez...
