A common fanatical belief among members of society used to explain an aspect of reality to painful to acknowledge.

Most people in this small town believe in monogamy because they're are to egomoral to realize that lack of variety leads to boredom.

All of my Facebook friends talk about themselves and nothing else; they should change the name to Egobook because it's just a bunch of egomedia.

Éomer

No one in their right mind would name their kid Éomer. If your kid’s name is Éomer, you’re probably a struggling alcoholic or a LOTR fan. If you ever meet an Éomer, they’ll probably have hate for their parents because no one understands their name on the first listen.

Person 1: “My name is Éomer”
Person 2: “what? Omar?
Person 1: “No, Éomer. Like the guy from Lord of the Rings”

Egomoralism

I think therefore I’m obviously without fail becasue I must have thought this out more than you.

The egomoralsist thinks first of preconceptions and then assumes receptions to prejudices: old trope got this; we can quell this hazard via hate, distrust and misunderstanding and/or a we are the righteous and opposed to the obfuscate.

There are things you think and cannot back by rational reasoning so you get “egomoralism”. Not always just but that which is under scrutiny by moral clause across contemporaries
