Military slang that describes someone in the act of walking away after being booted from a tough course like Airborne or Ranger School. The person is humiliated and drags his duffle bag full of kit along the ground behind him. A sobering sight to those still in the course.

The bag is picked up and then dropped off at a specified location. Sometimes the Duffel Bag Boy is Paid at the "Drop off" and sometimes they are paid after the job is done and they've returned to the Dealer. If paid at the Drop off, it is generally not necessary to return.
