Carcolepsy is a condition that most often is denied by the person who has it. Often brushed off as being tired af from the days work (even though u were off that day) carcolepsy can attack at any moment of the car ride whether it's in motion or not but be advised it will definitely happen Everytime ( husband who has it being heard in background saying NOT EVERY TIME.)

TREATMENT: DONT LET THEM DRIVE EVER! THEY WILL MAKE U BELIEVE CAFFEINE WILL HELP OR TALKING TO SOMEONE OR EVEN RADIO HELPS BUT DONT BELIEVE THEM THEY WERE PROBLY TALKING IN THERE SLEEP THEN TOO! KEEP THE KEYS FROM THEM AND SAVE LIVES PEOPLE !

KID: I don't want dad to drive us mom can u drive PLEASE?

DAD: WHAT WHY?!
KID: I DONT WANT TO DIE
DAD: I FELL ASLEEP ONE TIME!

MOM: YES ILL TAKE U, (LAUGH AT HUBBY) CARCOLEPSY!

Carcolepsy 

Carcolepsy (v)
When an individual is wide awake walking around alert and conscious gets into a vehicle to either drive or be a passenger of that ride and will almost instantaneously fall asleep. If the person is not nudged awake and some sort of way upon falling asleep or shortly thereafter they fall into a deep sleep which is really hard to wake them from unless of course the car has stopped moving to which they wake up almost as if a switch switch them back to life this can be dangerous do not allow anybody to drive with this condition

Kids: mom can you take us to school
Dad: mom's busy guys but I can take you come on let's go
Kids awkwardly staring at each other wondering who will be the one to break the news to Dad
Kids: no it's okay we'll take the bus dad thank you though
Dad: what? You guys never want to ride with me in the car anymore
Kids: yeah well you know we don't want to die and you having car collapsy makes it a bigger chance of that happening so thanks but no thanks got to go

Why would anybody let him drive the car he has carcolepsy do you not value his life or your car?

Carcolepsy 

The act of getting sleepy while riding in a car. The word is a portmanteau word from car (for a motor vehicle, but it can occur on a plane or a train as well) and narcolepsy (a sleep disorder). The difference between carcolepsy and narcolepsy is that people who suffer from carcolepsy occurs in people who do not have a sleep disorder. It is theorized that people with carcolepsy are sensitive to gentle vibrations, the sound of the car engine or the tires interacting with the road, and a rocking motion. These stimuli have a soothing effect on some individuals. This sometimes interferes with the person being able to drive although they have no manifestations of narcolepsy. The best example of carcolepsy, although the term is not often used in this situation is taking a fussy baby for a car ride to make them sleepy. Sleep medicine physicians sometimes jokingly use carcolepsy when someone brings this issue to their attention.

I was really looking forward to a chat with Aunt Helen on the drive to Grandma's house but she had an "attack" of carcolepsy as soon as she got into the car and slept the whole way there

The act of falling asleep, usually within minutes and in the passenger or backseat, during a car trip. It is especially prevalent among those promising to navigate.

Mom gets carcalepsy on the way home from Grandma's every Sunday, but she always wakes up when we try to change the radio station.

horizontal narcolepsy 

When one uncontrollably falls asleep every time they lay down flat, parallel to the floor, even if it is not a planned "nap time."

Roger: "Hey man, why weren't you in class today?"

Matt: "Dude, i laid down on the couch to watch TV and my horizontal narcolepsy kicked in... woke up 4 hours later."

When your ass falls asleep, in the same way that your leg or your arm does. Can occur at any time without warning. It tends to recur, and may be more properly referred to as a chronic condition as such. Reports indicate that some find it pleasant, while others don't.

Person 1: Hey, why is Johnson sitting like that?
Person 2: Well, he told me the other day that he's got butt narcolepsy.

Person 1: Ah, sorry to hear that. Hope he's doing alright with it.
Person 2: Ya he manages.

meeting narcolepsy

I don't know why but each time we have a team meeting, Chris suffers from sudden meeting narcolepsy.
