The masculine form of the word blonde which refers to women. Blond men have various ethnic backgrounds but most relating to european routes mostly from Sweden, Norway, or Germany. Blond men in the media are typically portrayed as being evil or deceitful, usually playing the obnoxious jock or sadistic mastermind in a story but in actuality, it all comes down to something simpler. Being blonde is a desirable aspect for many people. And typically due to their ancestry, blond males tend to be stronger, well built and good looking. Entertainment usually focuses on the underdog prevailing against evil ( i.e a brown haired nerd, who wears glasses.) while the muscular, blonde jock gets defeated in the end, happily ever after right? Wrong. unfortunately what may seem fun on film sends a negative message into our culture, stating a predetermined belief that all blonde males are evil. 50 years ago, their would be blond hero's all the time on tv, now it's mostly dark haired men who end up getting the girl. Maybe this is due to the fact that the memories of world war 2 are being dug up, and brought back to life, giving blondes a bad name as being nazis, which is extremely racist and offensive. This is pretty much the root of all this discrimination, people who were chastised in the past by blonds are taking revenge on the ones who had nothing to do with anything. There is nothing mentally wrong with blonds because hair color doesn't affect how smart, how good or how evil people are.

It's a hair colour (gold, usually), NOT a personality trait.
The dumb blonde cliché started with the kinds of characters Marylin Monroe played in many of her movies. She usually played characters who were pretty ditsy, though sometimes she came through with some profoundly wise insight. So when people blame their ditsiness or naivety on being blonde, they are just pandering to a popular culture stereotype.
In other words, being blonde has nothing to do with being stupid. Being stupid has everything to do with being stupid.

Marylin Monroe's character, at the end of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, convinces her would-be father-in-law that women chasing after rich men is like men chasing after beautiful women.

A person with the hair color blonde. Some definitions say a female, but they lack the brain to realize that men too can have blonde hair. Female blondes are usually classified as stupid sluts. Some are and some arent just like brunettes, red heads, and black heads. There is an ongoing battle between blondes and brunettes as to which one is better. Some individuals try to figure out whether men like blondes or brunettes better. A stupid woman of any hair color or take the answers by men to heart. But a smart woman would realize that men who only like women based on hair color aren't worth their time.
Brunette #1: Brunettes do it so much better.
Brunette #2: I know. Who do those blondes think they are.
Fire Crotch: What about red heads?
Blonde: Shut up. We dont sit around talking about brunettes.

A word that the English language borrowed from French to describe a hair color that is traditionally described as "fair" or "flaxen" in English.
Blonde is a light hair color, ranging from light brown/dark blond to the tow headed platinum blonde.
"Blond" is used in French to refer to a fair-haired man and "blonde" is used for a fair-haired woman.
Blondes are stereotyped (often unfairly) as being sexually promiscuous and/or unintelligent. Since fair hair first appeared, many darker-haired peoples have imitated it... thus leading to fair and red hair being associated with prostitutes in some cases. The origins of the "dumb blonde" stereotype are not very clear, but it could be that the hair of many blondes turns darker as they grow and mature, and thus fair hair is associated with youth and childhood, and thus with innocence and naïveté.

Contrary to the stereotype, only a small minority of the blonde community is dumb. Marilyn Monroe, Judy Holliday, and Betty Hutton (contrary to their ditzy images) were quite intelligent women who wanted to be taken seriously.
The only dumb blondes that I know of are Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, and Ann Coulter.
Lindsay Lohan (foolishly) dyed blonde her beautiful scarlet tresses.
If blondes are so dumb, explain the intellect of Golden Retrievers and the alleged stupidity of the red-haired Irish Setter. For once, a someone with a darker hair color is the "dumb" one.

Referring to anyone with pale yellow to light-brown hair, lighter eyes, and usually lighter skin complexion. Feminine is "Blonde".

A person ("blond" is gender-neutral; the added -e is specifically for a feminine context) whose hair color ranges from a pale yellow to light brown. This characteristic is somewhat common in people of European/Caucasian stock, although it is said that natural blondes are becoming rarer.
A common trend in modern times is for people to dye their hair blond using a certain hair coloring agent. This trend is due to the depictions of blondes as symbols of beauty and attraction in the art and media outlets.
