Simpcore is a subgenre of Pop / Future Bass. JohnOfTheForest released the first Simpcore song, Poki Poki, on June 3, 2020 as part of Pokimane's stream schedule song contest.
As of 7/29/20, Poki Poki surpassed 1 million views on YouTube, and is about to surpass 1 million streams on Spotify.
