Stache Salute

When a person without a mustache gives a person with a mustache some sort of a sign of respect for his sweet stache.

Originated in 2001, by Krampack, as a way to salute El Stachio when arriving at his well. The original salute consisted of sliding one's index finger slowly across their upper lip, in an arched manner.

"That guy has been rocking his stache since High School, so I always give him a proper Stache Salute."

"I always give him mad props with a Stache Salute."

1) When a man encounters a beautiful woman (Or man, if that's your thing), he gives her a raise of his third leg in honor of her beauty.

2) A salute from downstairs.

"Hey, Steve. Do you have a cucumber in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"

"Neither, Rick. I just saw thing hot girl, and I had to give her a pants salute."

One-Finger Salute

A gesture associated with the American far-right and Trumpism. Made by extending your arm and pointing your index finger at the sky. Related to the Nazi "Sieg Heil" salute in appearance and presence in right-wing movements.

"Hey man, did you see those Trump supporters give a one-finger salute during his rally yesterday?"
"Yeah I did; in other news, my Australian visa just got approved."

It is a salute enacted by slowly raising your hand while shaking it. This gesture is used to express and pay tribute to the awesomeness of person or his/her deeds.

Cat 5 Salute

Posting up (sitting up and taking both hands off of the handlebars) like an asshole at the end of a cycling race or a group ride when you won the sprint in for 16th...or anything but for the win.

The Cat 5 Salute (Category 5 is for beginners) demonstrates you are a complete noob at riding/racing your bike.

Often times accompanied by losing control and crashing.

Salute Your Shorts

A show that was on nickelodeon in the early and mid-90's. The show was about a group of kids in summer camp, and stared Kirk Baily as Ug, Venus DeMilo as Telly Radford, Erik MacArthur as Michael Stein, Danny Cooksey as Budnick, Michael Bower as 'Donkeylips' Gelfen, Heidi Lucas as Dina Alexander, Blake Sennett as Ronnie Pinsky, and Ben Stein as Dr. Kahn.

It's considered by most people as one of the classic shows that nickelodeon had before turning to complete garbage.

Blake Sennett, who played Pinksy on Salute Your Shorts and was a semi-regular guest star on Boy Meets World, now plays in the bands Rilo Kiley and The Elected.
