Starlight Tour

The practice of police officers driving a person, aboriginal to the outskirts of town during a winter night, and leaving them there to walk back to town. Many have died as result of this phenomenon contributed by hypothermia.

Eleanor “Laney” Ewenin was last seen taken away by the Calgary Police on a ‘starlight tour' that night then the next morning found in jeans, leather snow boots, a down vest and a bomber jacket in a field near a rural road.
