RIF Booty - Reduction In Force Booty
Items left behind in someones cube or office after they have been laid off due to a reduction in work force. Items are normally then acquired by one or multiple other employees who were fortunate enough to "survive" the RIF.

Akin to pirates booty.

Alex: Cool pencil sharpener, where did you get it.
Selma: Jim's office, it was RIF Booty.

Duke: Looks like everyone is gone, want to go hunt for some RIF Booty
Sofia: Heck yeh! The last RIF I got a really cool red stapler.
