Poppers

A phenomenon that began in Orangeville, Ontario and quickly spread around the 905 and 519 area codes. A popper is performed by unscrewing the bowl off a metal bong piece and stuffing a cut of a cigarette (about 1 cm long) into the smoking end and then stamping some weed on top. It is then all smoked in one bong hit and makes a popping sound as it goes down.

Have a sesh in the 905 and hit some poppers.

Poppers

A way to smoke weed mixed with cigerettes. You cut as peice of cigerrette, half a centimeter or so, and shove it in a long metal tube (incense tubes work too). Once its stuck in the tube, top it with weed and hit it lightly, and when you have brewed a fat bong toke you suck really hard and pull all that shit through. Poppers get you really fucked up but it wears off after like 10 minutes or so. In southern ontario, we smoke poppers all the time.

Poppers

Slang term for amyl nitrite (not "nitrate" - this is a common misconception). Commonly used as a recreational drug to cause sensations of euphoria in conjunction with stimulant drugs and dance music. Alternatively used during sex to give feelings of disinhibition, as well as relaxing smooth muscle. It is sold in small glass bottles under such names as "Liquid Gold" or "Rush", and marketed as a "room odoriser". Its sale is not illegal in many jurisdictions.

Originally used as a treatment for angina (as it relaxes the muscles in artery walls), it came in small glass vials that were broken open (making a "popping" sound).
